Slacker

Yes, I am a blog slacker. I am trying to figure out how I would like to use this medium, my blog, for many months and years to come. Focus on great photography? Capture moments? Catalog our activities? I haven't figured it out yet. I know I don't want to post for the sake of posting...though I want this to be a resource for our family for years in the future...a way to remember all the happy and special times. So I will figure it out.

On that note, here is our life lately from the perspective of my iPhone. My old one. The one I dropped and shattered.

Water baby

Caroline gets a bath every night.  She doesn't always get a full scrub with hair wash, but she does get to dip and play and rinse.  John does her hair the best.  And boy does she love to splash!!

(This is what I mean by not always willing.  She wanted to stand up and I made her sit.)

Venturing out again

So I think our family is starting to feel better all around!  We at least made it out of the house a bit this weekend.  Saturday started with some breakfast with Cousin O and the fam, and the girls got to see some big kids ice skating.

Yesterday ended with dinner with Rhys, his parents, and the Nanas.  Quite a day.

Today Caroline and I went to Georgetown to do a bit of shopping.  We parked right across from Papou so we waved to him from across the street :).  After she rode around while I popped in and out of some stores, we enjoyed some Baked and Wired cupcakes.

Speaking of tummies.  Caroline can show you her belly if asked.  It is way cute.  Sorry for the quality of these next few pics.  We had afternoon PJ time (due to an unfortunate poop-all-over-the-crib incident) and I was able to capture her showing me her belly!

Silly.  Next weekend there will be a photo shoot for sure.  It is way overdue.

Our days lately, per my iPhone

This whole house has been sick since returning from vacation.  Therefore apologies again for the lack of photos in this new year! Here are a few of our goings on lately.

First, a baby so sick she didn't even want to go out and see the mini-snowfall!

And of course there was eating.

And we joined Dad on the putting green!

We got our flour on in a fancy apron thanks to the Blums.

And finally we are just sitting pretty!

Hopefully I will have more to share soon once we are all feeling back to normal!
