Big girl. No longer a baby. A little tornado. Language exploding. "Mama, Daddy, Nini, Eleanoie." Mimics words and actions. Giggles. Cries. Fake cries. Loves band-aids, Barney/BabyBop/BJ/Riff, baby doll, scooter, pacis, books, loveys.
Our hearts are full. We are thankful for the gift that is Caroline.

An Elephant Birthday Party
This about sums it up:
Caroline had a fantastic birthday celebration with her family. Nana and Papi flew in and the Nichols clan joined us for an elephant themed breakfast.
Caroline received some perfect presents. Lots of art supplies, a doctor kit, a soccer ball and cones, a scooter, a dollhouse, a stroller and baby dolls, and some clothing.
Quite a haul! She is even happy today and has been playing with all of her loot. Olivia was a great help as always and Rhys enjoyed the festivities too.
And then there was Eleanor. She hung out with her nanas for most of her waking moments at the party.
Then this happened. Too cute.
I cannot believe our baby is almost two years old. Happy birthday party to my tornado.

EMN - Three months old
Look who is so big and happy! Eleanor is a snuggly nugget. She loves smiling at her sister, sucking on her hands, and grabbing her feet. She has become super sturdy and has abs of steel.
Her steely abs cause her to tip over face first in a lot of (very soft) places (where there is full adult supervision). I cannot get enough of this girl. Especially since I returned to work last week. The transition back for me was much easier this time around. Eleanor is doing fine. I think Caroline had the hardest time adjusting to me not being around all day long. She burst into tears when I got back the first few days. Luckily Daiane is with us and she is one of Caroline's favorite people in the whole world.
I leave you with a few more shots of my nugget.

A return to the petting zoo
Today we went north to see some animals. On the way up there, Caroline decided to pour half a bottle of water on her crotch while sitting in her carseat. I didn't have any backup clothing for her. However the Misses had a pair of shorts for Rhys that we got to borrow. Did I mention it was probably 50 degrees and super windy? Oh Caroline. Love her.
She didn't seem to be freezing. Probably because she ran a lot. She loved getting the feed out of the big can and kinda liked feeding the goats. Not as much as her dad or her aunt and uncle though!
This is sort of a do as you please operation. There was a pig just chillin...
At the end there was a tractor with a slide (?) and some bouncy toys. Caroline went on the super fast slide all by herself.
O showed off her balancing skills.
And then this happened.
Then we had some tasty bbq for lunch before heading home. The time change hasn't hit us too hard this time around. We'll see what time the littles wake in the morning!
