EMN 7 months old

Hi! I am Eleanor and I am 7 months old. I am a big smiler…once you get it out of me. I have too much hair and I am not a fan of bows, ponies, or headbands. I love to eat my food and then touch my pretty hair.

I sit all by myself and if I am laying down I can pull myself to sitting, then all the way up to standing. Standing is the best. I cruise in a counter-clockwise direction mostly. I am not fast yet but I will be. I do not intend to crawl.

Caroline is my favorite. I smile the best for her and even laugh. I am slow to warm to most people. I sleep through the night now…11 hours. This makes mama and daddy very happy.

I'm just Eleanor.

Snow days

This about sums up how we feel about this winter.

Seriously, we have been trapped in this house a lot.  Therefore we are ready for spring so we donned our new suits from Nana and Papi this past week and tried to pass the time.

We also posed in party dresses.

For serious.  It needs to be springtime.

Open gym

O and her parents introduced us to open gym at dynamite gymnastics center about a year ago. Back then, Caroline enjoyed it. But now she kills it. Total love.

The rope swing is her current favorite.  She couldn't quite hold on the last time we came.  This time she wanted to go over and over and over.

Eleanor hangs out too!

At open gym you basically get the run of the place. Trampolines, foam pit, bars, beam, floor, you name it.

A moment to catch her breath.

We really just need to sign her up for class.

Killing time, killing germs

We had to entertain ourselves a lot when we were sick.  Just a few pics from Caroline's room.

EMN 6 months old

Oh Eleanor, how we love you.  Just a big chubby ball of smiles, and restless sleep.  Our baby is 1/2 a year old.  She tops out at 98th% height and 75th% weight.  She has sat on her own for a bit now, but cannot find the motivation or the strength to crawl.  Crawling's hard y'all!  It is close though...any day now.

We are coming off of three weeks of household illness, starting with a bad stomach bug that got passed around which then became wicked colds.  We are so very lucky to have a healthy house now.  If only Eleanor would sleep!  I kiss her cheeks regardless.
