Vacation

This past week we traveled to Rosemary Beach, Florida to spend the week with Kris, Matt and the girls.  Nana and Papi joined us on Thursday.  We realized quickly that vacationing with two 14-month-olds and a 7(ish)-month-old is not exactly relaxing.  It was nearly impossible to synchronize schedules, with the exception of bath and bed.  Regardless, it was still great to stick our toes in the Gulf and sit around all week.  Caroline absolutely LOVES her cousins.

Day one started off a bit misty.  We had a great little green space near our house that the big girl walkers played on.  Can you believe Leah and Sophie are walking??  Soph basically runs.

The above shot is very Vogue don't you think?  The girls played while Caroline took her first nap of the day.

Leah gets just so excited for herself when she is walking.  And Sophie is a silly ham...all over the place that one.

We took the girls out for lunch and Caroline had cheese grits (gouda) for the first time.  This is her when she realized there were no more grits.  She'll eat anything.

And yes, we tip even more now when out with her at meals.  She is messy. We eventually made it out to the beach...the weather wasn't great at the start of the week so the goal was just to show C the gulf and sand.  She ate the sand.

I'll have more posts to come with highlights from the rest of our week!
