This past weekend we said goodbye to our dear friends Jennifer and Paul Coleman, and their kiddos Audrey and Pierce. The Coleman clan is moving to Kentucky this week. Jennifer was my first (and oldest) friend in DC. We met when I was interning here in undergrad, many months before I chose to attend law school in DC. Jennifer, Paul, and Audrey attended our wedding in France (and Pierce arrived 9 or 10 months later). I will miss them tons. We caught up a bit on Sunday at our house.
It was the first time the big kids met Caroline and Audrey especially was very interested in her. I cannot believe how big these kids are. I remember meeting them in the hospital. Sigh.
Onto happier thoughts, here are some photos of C scootching around the basement.
This weekend we also had some pajama time (Kris they may be familiar) and Caroline ate some carrots.
Now off to plan my first trip to KY.
